"A wise man should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings, and learn how by his own thought to derive benefit from his illnesses."   Hippocrates, Regimen in Health   Greek physician (460 BC - 377 BC)

Care-Seekers Guidelines

Allowing someone to come into your home or a family member’s home can be difficult.   Trust and safety are valid issues of concern.   Lifestyles and personalities are other factors to consider.   How can you be assured the caregiver is honest, qualified, and will treat your family member with compassion, respect, and dignity?

You may also have questions about whether our wellness protocol is a workable option for your particular situation.   How can our protocol extend and coexist with independent living?   What duties do our caregiver normally perform?   How does the term non-medical services impact care?   What is the role of a service provider?   How much does the training and services cost?   Can you terminate services without notice or cause?

These are just a few of the concerns and questions you may have about the Guidepost Wellness Plan.   Our WC (Wellness Coordinator) can meet with potential clients and answer all your questions.   Here's a simplified snapshot of the process:

• Care-seeker completes online application or contacts us by phone.
• WC contacts care-seeker by phone.
• WC summarizes homeopathic medicine and the Guidepost Wellness Plan to care-seekers.
• WC schedules on-site visit with the family.
•   [If the care-seeker decides to proceed with an on-site family planning meeting]
• WC and family perform a Site Safety Evaluation and a Client Needs Assessment.
• WC answers all care-seeker questions.
•   [If the care-seeker decides to proceed with the Wellness Plan]
• WC and the family creates a Wellness Care Plan for the client based on situational needs.
• WC educates and trains care-seekers on details for implementing the wellness plan.
• WC and client determine if any additional assistance or homecare services are required.
• WC monitors client and modifies the Wellness Care Plan as required.

Whenever possible, the input, training, and assistance of family members is encouraged.   The Guidepost Wellness plan has protocols established to help everyone in the family stay healthy.

We want to teach you - How Your Body can Heal Itself Naturally.   The protocols should be supplemented by a healthy diet, physical fitness, plenty of sleep, water, and peacefulness.  Natural nutritional supplements can be added when your diet falls short.   With an empowered immune system, you can experience what it means to feel your best.
